![]() About Rebecca Rebecca Winn is a trained professional Life Coach, award winning designer, entrepreneur and freelance writer whose articles run regionally and nationally. Born in Dallas and raised in Europe since first grade, Rebecca's family returned to the U.S. just before she entered high school. She attended Highland Park High School and went on to earn a BFA from the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University. Professionally, Rebecca was a fashion model during high school, college and into her early 20's; a top producing real estate agent after her marriage and before the birth of her son and a stay-at-home-mom for 11 years. When her son was about to go into middle school, she began Whimsical Gardens, an artistic landscape design firm. During her years as a landscape designer, Rebecca became the garden writer for D Home magazine which has the second largest circulation of any shelter magazine in Texas after Architectural Digest. Her gardening, design and environmental writing then expanded to many other regional and national publications. When her son went off to college, she followed her call to become a life coach. She received her post-graduate coaching training from the internationally accredited Coaches Training Institute (CTI) based in San Raphael California. She now writes, coaches, conducts workshops and speaks on topics including body image, shadow relationships and personal responsibility. |
